  • Introduction

    Midstream Electrical Supplies, south of Centurion seeks a professional to join our team with a passion to give excellent service to clients.

    This position will primarily be responsible for the daily handling of client queries, correspondence to clients, processing of various applications and follow up on outstanding documents. It will include reporting and the collection of overdue accounts.

    Based in the Client Services office and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate also shares in the responsibility for general client services duties and is expected to cover for the other staff in their absence.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for (not limited to):

    • Daily front desk duties (Walk-ins, telephone, email)
    • Handle client queries or escalated queries
    • Follow a pre-defined process when clients apply for a service
    • Record day to day applications on our in-house system
    • Scan documents into in-house system and prepare hard copies for archiving
    • Create incidents on Sage 200 Evolution.
    • Assist with the inspection process for new applications.
    • Process inspection data received from field into our in-house system and Sage 200 Evolution
    • Do quality checks on data received from field
    • Liaisons with inspectors for outstanding information and feedback after inspections.
    • Liaisons with other departments for new meter installations and other information required.
    • Monitor unauthorized electricity feed-back on grid.
    • Track and follow-up on incomplete applications and annual renewals
    • Collection of overdue accounts as per pre-defined process
    • Bulk communication to clients
    • Prepare various invoices
    • Internal request from other departments
    • Compile, maintain and produce reports on client services data and update various spreadsheets
    • Assist in office with other duties and cover for staff in their absence.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • At least 5 years administrative experience
    • Excel advanced
    • Sage (Preferable Sage 200 Evolution)
    • Proficiency in English, MS Word & Outlook

    Package & Remuneration

    R 16,600 per month plus benefits (Provident Fund, Funeral & Life Cover, Medical Aid)
